DEUX COUVERCLES EN CUIVRE EMAILLE « SULEYMANIYE »
TURKEY, OTTOMAN ART, 19th CENTURY Two enamelled copper "suleymaniye" lids with polychrome and gilt decoration on a pink background, decorated with floral bouquets, and button-shaped handles. The two elements are mounted on either side of a hexagon of glass panels, and a wick is fixed in one of the lids, forming a lamp. Three suspension chains are attached, held by a brass dome with openwork palmettes, and topped by a pulley. TWO LAMP MOUNTED ENAMELLED COPPER (SULEYMANIYE ) COVERS, TURKEY, OTTOMAN, 19TH CENTURY.
