Orpheus charming the animals in a central medallion, shouldered by two feathered female masks and semi-circles animated by animals and flowering plants, in a frame of lemon and artichoke branches. Triple border, the central one wider decorated with a plant frieze with flowers, fruits and vegetables. Embroidery in polychrome wool stitches. Unlined. H. 133 cm - Length : 246 cm. Tears, pulled threads, restorations. ON JOINT : AUBUSSON, probably end of the XVIIth century Fragment of a woolen tapestry border with flowers. Lined. H. 30 cm - Length : 105 cm. Very worn, threads pulled and missing.
