JUMEAU

Phonograph doll. Porcelain head marked in the back of the neck with a red stamp "Tete déposée jumeau 11", open mouth, fixed blue eyes. Body in articulated composition marked with blue stamp "Bébé Jumeau SGDG Déposé". Compartment with perforated metal cover in the bust containing the Lioret phonograph mechanism with a record "Nous n'irons plus aux bois". H. 62 cm. Some chips to the body and repainting. Mechanism a priori functional but missing drive belt. Brown wig with cork cap. Pair of brown leather shoes with bee mark on the sole, size 11. Cream cotton floral dress in copy of the original Jumeau dress, blue fabric dress and old style lace. White cotton corset, knee socks.
