The car was registered with plate TR1000, which it has maintained over the years to this day. He successfully debuted with his Fiat in the Terni Passo somma, winning first place and finishing in Auto Italiana of June 1926. Then in 1927 Rigoletto Belli raced the 509 S in the Coppa della Perugina (fifth), the Terni Passo Somma (first), the Vermicino Rocca di Papa and the Tolentino Colle Paterno. According to the chronological extract, he sold the Fiat in 1932 to Lamberto Miconi, who kept the car for a few months before selling it to another enthusiast. The car passed from hand to hand until it was sold in 1957 to Valerio Moretti, a well-known name in classic car circles. He restored the car and kept it until 1989, a good 32 years. It then became part of a private collection in France in the early 2000s, but was never registered there.
