The KB1 was launched with a slogan that encapsulated the entire philosophy of the Rimini-based company and its founders, Giuseppe Morri and Massimo Tamburini: Bimota, the fussy craft of perfecting what seems perfect .
Developed on a tubular chrome molybdenum frame and equipped with the engines of the legendary Kawasaki Z 900 and Z 1000, the KB1 was for a long time the model that represented the greatest sales success for Bimota. Sold as a kit or as a complete bike, the KB1 was an important evolutionary step from the company's first model, the HB1, which was produced in only 10 units.
This example was registered on March 2, 1979 in the province of Rovigo and had only 2 owners. For many years it has been part of the collection of a motorcycle enthusiast: always maintained with care it is offered here for the first time at auction.
