In Honda's vision, technical refinement, performance, reliability and commercial competitiveness were at the core of the new motorcycles being produced. With the CB500, Honda revolutionized the way of thinking about the various models offered in a given range. At that time it was common practice for motorcycle manufacturers to diversify their commercial offerings by offering motorcycles of different displacements and equipment, based on an almost unchanged technical scheme between the various models. With the CB500, Honda created a motorcycle that shared with its big sister only the setting and a similar aesthetic line. It was a test of strength for Honda to create a bike that was specifically designed for its displacement, with a frame and technical solutions that were not shared with its bigger and smaller sisters. This 1975 K1 has had only 3 owners since new, retains its original plates and has covered less than 40,000 km in 46 years. The bike has never been restored and is ready to ride and will give its new owner plenty of satisfaction.
