Jean CAUMONT, Master in Paris in 1774 A straight chest of drawers with two drawers without a crossbar under a row of three drawers. It is made of beautiful mahogany with a single plate for the two drawers without crossbar. It rests on four tapered fluted legs. The The uprights are fluted, the front ones rounded and filleted. The bronzes decorating this chest of drawers are very sober. Mobile ringed handles and 3 with ribbon knot, white marble top with cavet that we regularly find on CAUMONT's chests of drawers. H. 85 cm - W 112 cm - D 53 cm Very clear and legible stamp on one of the front jambs with two stamps two stamps of swearing. (Good general condition, with a key). A very similar chest of drawers can be found in P. KJELLBERG's book Le mobilier Le mobilier français du XVIIIe siècle, Les éditions de l'amateur, p. 170
