MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: clay depurated chamois, ivory mottling; brown paint; modelled by fast lathe.
Two cups, one with flattened rim and shallow bowl, flat bottom, decorated with geometric motifs, swastikas and bands, handles set horizontally on the rim; the other with rounded flared rim and truncated cone bowl, flat bottom, stick handles set obliquely on the bowl, decorated with arched circles on the brim.
PRODUCTION: Daunian banded pottery.
STATE OF CONSERVATION: intact, encrusted, one without a handle.
