DATING: Subgeometric Daunian III, IV cent. b.C. C.
MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: depurated chamois clay, ivory mottling; brown and paonazza varnish; modelled by hand.
Askos with slightly flared rim indistinct from the cylindrical neck, elongated globular body, with pointed rear end, flat bottom; ribbon handle set longitudinally on the back, decorated with horizontal bands and diagonal motifs.
