DIVINITA' IN TRONO
DIVINITY ON THRONE
DATING: IV-III century BC.
MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: little purified clay, rich in inclusions, moulded.
Figure of female divinity, hieratically seated on a throne with a high back and provided with a suppedaneo, represented in a frontal position with the veil that covers the hair and goes down along the sides, the arms resting on the knees. A small hole in the right hand suggests that the goddess was holding a flower or a fruit now lost.

STATE OF CONSERVATION: intact, slight chipping
