QUATTRO VASI A VERNICE NERA

FOUR BLACK-PAINTED VASES DATE: IV century BC. MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: pinkish figulina clay, shiny black paint with metallic reflexes, modelled by fast lathe. Small kylix with truncated cone-shaped bowl, low truncated cone foot, stick handles set horizontally under the rim; a skyphos with slightly everted rim, truncated cone body, ring foot, ribbon handles set horizontally under the rim; a jug with a rounded rim, cylindrical neck, ovoid body, flat bottom, double stick handle, set on the rim and shoulder, small plate with rounded lip, truncated cone-shaped body and foot (4) PRODUCTION: Apulian black glazed pottery STATE OF CONSERVATION: intact, a restoration on the plate DIMENSIONS: h. from cm 8,5 to cm 3,5; diam. from cm 15 to cm 6,5 ORIGIN: Pandolfini Auction House, 2014 This lot, according to Italian law, can not be exported / This lot, according to Italian law, can not be exported
