Like the previous model, this Deville convertible is the sixth generation.
It has the same engine as its sister, the Deville sedan, a big block V8 of 7.7 liters developing 375 horsepower synchronized to a turbohydramatic 400 4 speed gearbox.
The latter provides great comfort and acceleration.
Overall, the Deville convertible is richly equipped (brakes, power steering, electric windows, speed warnings, radio...)
