Stirling MOSS, Peter COLLINS, Bernie ECCLESTONE made their debut in this type of Cooper as did Ken CARTE who was with this car 1st at Brands Hatch, 3rd at Castelcombe, 4th at Rouen.
At the end of 1951 it was fitted with a JAP 1100 engine to race in Formula 2.
Restored, she has found her 500 NORTON Manx engine.
She is listed in the 55 Owners Association with 500 OA VIF
