Spine with 5 nerves decorated with fine gilt roulettes and gilt fillets, cold-stamped motifs with gilt dots in the inter-nerve areas, gilt decorations on the tail and head. Large floral lace framing in cold on the boards with bold fillets and gilt dots on the corners. Fine gilt roulette on the edges. Gilt floral lace on the inner borders. Marbled boards matching the endpaper. Posterior lined slipcase. First edition. An almost uncolored copy in a delightful and perfectly preserved contemporary binding.
