In-18° paperback. Modern slipcase. Copy returned to the state of publication (yellow cover muted and label printed on the back). It has a large margin, unlike many copies. Rare first edition of the first collection of Béranger's songs, complete with the engraved frontispiece after Horace Vernet. A very fine copy from the library of Jules Brivois, bibliophile and bibliographer, bearing on the verso of the title page the mention "washed and glued by me in 1873" and his initials. Note that this copy was not in the catalogue of the sale of the library of Jules Brivois (6-12 December 1920) where, it is true, two others were already listed under n° 1005 and 1006.
