Boards decorated with an important decoration of gilt and cold-stamped fillets, dotted lines and ornaments, grey silk lining bordered with a large blue morocco frame decorated with gilt fillets, dotted lines and ornaments. Gilt on witnesses. Covers and spine on board. First edition of the 1st French translation. 1/50 numbered copies on Hollande, the only large paper. A very fine copy in a masterly binding by Carayon!
