In-8°. Full contemporary tan calf. Smooth spine richly decorated with a set of gilt scrolls. Author and title in marbled calf. Marbled boards surrounded by a triple gilt thread. Interior gilt teeth. Royal blue paper endpapers. T. gilt. Edition printed at 300 copies and illustrated with 4 figures drawn by Le Barbier and engraved under his direction. Some rubbing here and there without consequence and pale scattered russets to the figures. A very good copy.
