In-8°. Full contemporary speckled calf. Spine decorated with gilt fillets and fleurons. Triple gilt fillet on the covers. Ornate and gilt edges. T. gilt. New edition illustrated with an engraved portrait by Marillier after the one painted by La Tour and 9 engraved figures by Marillier. Cohen points out - without having seen it - that there is a 2nd state before the letter with the title of the piece at the top of the engraving: it is the case of this copy. Joints a little marked and foxing in the margins of the plates otherwise a very nice copy in a well preserved contemporary binding.
