Africa. Cameroon. Rare Ngil-Bulu reliquary sign. The Bulu are part of the Fang group. They are located in the border area between Cameroon and Gabon. The Ngi is a fearsome gorilla with which the postulant identifies himself after his acceptance into the secret society. Their statues of monkeys are remarkable for their invention of round and simple forms, and for their great accuracy in observing the animal's attitude.
