[Binding with arms]. JORNANDES. History of the Goths, translated from Latin by Jornandes, archbishop of Ravenna. In Paris, by the Vve de Cl. Barbin, 1603. In-12, XXVIII p., [10] f., 287 p., contemporary spotted tan calf, spine with 5 nerves, fawn calf title-piece, ornamented caissons, arms stamped on the boards, gilt roulette on the edges, edges speckled (1 cap uncovered, snagged on another, 1 corner worn, small scratches on the upper board, moderate brownings). Provenance: La Fèvre de Caumartin Library, in the castle of Saint-Ange (stamped arms and engraved bookplate).
