In-8, XXVII-300 p., pl., contemporary speckled tan basane, smooth spine decorated with small irons, gilt title on black background, gilt border on the edges, red edges (small worm work on the lower cover, corners a little rubbed, very rare russet). First edition, illustrated after Marillier's compositions with a title-frontispiece engraved by E. de Ghendt and an allegorical plate by C. S. Gaucher.
