(privil.), contemporary marbled havana calf, spine with 5 nerves, garnet morocco title-piece, ornamented caissons, marbled edges (worms' tracery located at the tail of the spine and at the centre of the upper board; sporadic light wetness). New edition of this critical collection first published in 1751, written by Louis Damours (1720-1788), lawyer at the Conseil du Roi. The original title reads: "Avec des observations sur les usages des pays de Bresse, Bugey et autres provinces régies par le droit écrit". (INED 1265). Discreet old manuscript bookplate on the title.
