Autograph letter signed by Julien Gracq to Max-Philippe Delatte: [Un balcon en forêt] mais le farniente n'est pas garanti, et la forêt bouge comme celle de Dunsinane. A Parisian bookseller and publisher, Max-Philippe Delatte (1914-1989) was also president of the Société Anatole France. As for the hill of Dunsinane, in Scotland, it forms the setting for the last scenes of Macbeth. Sumptuous binding in night cobra signed Alain Devauchelle.
