Leather album of the time with rich gilt on spine, cover with gilt and blind stamped border and fillets (front cover loose, capitals with missing parts, rubbed, bumped and scuffed). The album contains beautiful drawings of landscapes, animals, ships etc. as well as four splendid ink drawings of Goethe's Faust. - At the mounted corners partly somewhat wavy, partly slightly browned and spotted. - Album with 42 drawings in various techniques.
