This playful concept in connection with La Fontaine's fables obviously enjoyed some popularity at that time; Rochambeau 1692 lists a second identical edition of 1818-19 (with all four issues) with only the publisher's addresses of Lambert, Nepveu, and Lefuel pasted over with the names and address of Guillot and of Giroux. - Text pages somewhat foxed - Issues A and B.
