of 52 Leipzig manuscripts, mostly of legal content, Latin dissertations, disputations, commentaries, orations etc., printed and published by Langenhem (15), Staritz (10), Breitkopf (5), Titius (5) and some others as Klaubarth (1), Loeper (2), Tauchnitz (2), Teubner (1), Zeidler (1) etc., 1706-1847, mostly 18th cent. from 8° to Gr.-4° resp. Fol. (1), mostly Gr.-8°. Rarely paperback and wrappers, plus colored paper wrappers, stitched, unbound, spine pasted over with colored paper etc., in transparent pockets, in 3 Leitz folders. Variegated (neither arranged chronologically, nor by name, nor by printers and publishers): majority of dissertations at the law faculty Leipzig. Faculty Leipzig, on inheritance law, military law, sureties and mortgages, commercial law, lien law, history of law, and many more. Few writings on theology or philosophy. Among the authors: Gustav Hch. Mylius, Chrn. Wilh. Küstner, Magnus Ad. Lichtwer, Joh. Gottlieb Seeger a. others, under the chairmanship of famous professors a. jurists like Chrn. Gottlob Biener, Carl Otto Rechenberg, and many others - On enclosed DIN A4-sheets. indication not only of the authors, title, format, and coll. etc., also many copies from the internet with mounted portraits to the CVs. Portrs. to the curricula vitae, partly of the authors or the chairmen. - Some writings with seal of the law faculty at Leipzig imprinted at the end. Faculty at Leipzig, so e.g. in: Ordinarivs senior et reliqvi assessores Facvltatis Ivridicae Lipsiensis./ Memoriam Beneficii Borniani. 1825 (Commemorates i. a. the endowments of the Leipzig mayor, councillor, and benefactor Joh. Franz Born [1669-1735]). - Browned, little foxing, the titles often with old numbering in ink, partly also stamped and with underlining. Mostly uncut, the margins dusty and frayed. Altogether a lively document of the Leipzig jurist. Faculty, rich in later important and already great jurists. - Enclosed: Collection "Diverses", 24 most different small writings (in Latin and German) of German printing places: Bützow, Halle (2), Hamburg, Helmstadt, Jena (2), Lüneburg, Marburg, Rostock (4), besides Copenhagen (3; German/Danish parallel), (in Latin) Lund (1) u. Up(p)sala (7). Dated 1581 (1) u. 1695 (1) u. 1714-1848. 8° to 4° u. Fol.(1). Some in paper wrappers d. partly unbound, partly the spines pasted over with coloured paper or adhesive tape. In transparent pockets, in guide files. - Dissertations, tracts, festive resp. mourning speeches and programs, sermon etc., from the fields of medicine and natural sciences (e. g.: Jacobsson, Matth./ praes. Andr. J. Retz. Animadversiones circa Crocodylum ejusque historiam. Lund, Berlingian, 1797) further law, philosophy, theology. 2 patents on commercial law "Kanzelei" originate from Copenhagen, published by Joh. Frdr. Schultz, 1816 and 1823, concerning "a levy of auction money". The oldest writing (Helmstadt, Jac. Lucius, 1581, in incunabulum paper wrapper) is a sermon by Hoffmann in German, Daniel, concerning marriage vow, oath, marriage promise, and renunciation of it. - Mostly dusty, especially the uncut margins, these also frayed, occasionally foxing - Interesting collection of small writings. - Collection of 52 works. Various bindings. Partly chipping and foxing.
