Green morocco, boards and spine covered with a continuous decoration made of black oblique nets, gilt and mosaic intersecting, smooth spine, framed with the same morocco inside, bordered with a gilt net and a dark green morocco listel, lining and endpapers of green moiré silk, double marbled paper endpapers, gilt edges on marbling, cover and spine preserved, green morocco spine overlay folder, slipcase (G. Beautiful edition of this collection of short stories by Remy de Gourmont, printed at 335 copies. It is illustrated with 36 original compositions drawn and engraved on copperplate by Jean-Émile LABOUREUR (1877-1943), of which 23 are in black (a vignette on the title, 13 headpieces and 9 endpapers) and 13 full-page figures in colour on the marker. One of 285 copies on white vellum of Rives (n° 79), this one enriched with a suite of illustrations on the same paper, and the subscription brochure. Very beautiful original binding by Georges Cretté. Spine of the folder and binding faded. Provenance : ex-libris R.D.T.
