Rare edition of one of the most beautiful books illustrated by Gus BOFA (1883-1968). Printed at only 100 numbered copies on vellum paper, initialed by the publisher and signed by the artist at the justification, the edition is decorated with 65 compositions drawn and engraved by Bofa, of which 33 are in full-page colour and 32 in black. One of the 85 numbered copies in Arabic numerals (n° 52), including a suite in black with remarks of the full-page engravings. The remarks are generally erotic in nature. Copy enriched with 6 refused etchings on japon with remarks. Spine of the folder soiled, wear to the case. A few scattered foxing without gravity.
