Brown morocco, gilt framed with fillets and rocaille motifs on the boards, spine ribbed and decorated, brown morocco frame inside, decorated with gilt fillets, a gilt rosette at each corner and a cold roulette between the rosettes, light tan moiré silk lining and endpapers, double guards, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved, slipcase (E. Maylander) Edition printed at 300 copies, illustrated with 29 compositions by François SCHOMMER, including one on the cover and 10 hors texte, engraved with burin and etching by Léon Boisson. One of the first 75 copies on japon or vélin du Marais, here on vélin du Marais, enriched with two suites of engravings (with remark and pure etching with remark). Spine slightly lightened. Minor scattered foxing.
