Beautiful edition illustrated with 103 compositions by the painter Julien LE BLANT (1851-1936), woodcut in the text by Léveillé. One of the 35 copies on China paper, with a separate edition of all the engravings. This one is enriched with the suite of 8 etchings engraved by Émile Boilvin after the compositions of Julien Le Blant, this one being one of the 25 on chine collé in four states (pure etching with remark, before the letter with remark, before the letter, final state). Beautiful copy in Carayon binding, enriched with the false title, the title and the table printed especially for the continuation of the hors-texts, and the subscription leaflet. Spine re-stained.
