[GUITRY (Sacha)]. Set of programs and drawings relating to Sacha Guitry. Includes: - Two original drawings signed by Jan Mara representing Sacha Guitry: the first is an ink portrait (375 x 270), the second a color representation of the author in the role of Désiré (383 x 272) . - Original watercolor signed by Charles Bétout, depicting the British music hall comedian Little Tich as a clown (325 x 250). - Original gouache drawing by Maurice Perronnet representing Sacha Guitry in profile bust as Deburau (228 x 152). - Original drawing signed in ink by Claude Lepape representing Sacha Guitry and Marguerite Pierry in Vive l'empereur by Sacha Guitry at the Théâtre de La Madeleine (193 x 246). - Original watercolor signed by Bernard Grambert, representing a caricature of Sacha Guitry in profile (252 x 165). - Beautiful original photograph by Gerschel representing Lucien Guitry seated, smoking a cigarette, bearing this beautiful autograph dedication to Madeleine Renaud: "to my delightful comrade Madeleine Renaud who plays Suze like a little wonder - and who will play many others. Her comrade and friend. Lucien Guitry. Brussels 1 9bre 22 ". It does not seem to be the actress Madeleine Renaud, future wife of Jean-Louis Barrault, but more certainly Madeleine Renaud-Thévenet (1886-1963) who joined Jacques Copeau's Vieux-Colombier troupe in 1920 and became a teacher at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. - Original programme illustrated with a colour composition by Bernard Naudin on the cover, for the evening of 19 July 1938 given by the President of the Republic in honour of Their British Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, during which was performed Dieu sauve le Roi, apropos of Sacha Guitry. This programme was printed by the typographer François Bernouard, in folio format. The copy is enriched with a small programme for the same evening, as well as a beautiful photograph taken by Christian Jam of Nancy of the actor Robert Pizani who played the role of Robert Pisan in the play. This photograph, pasted on wove paper, is dedicated by the actor to Roger Le Barrois. - A folio program published by Raoul Solar for the premiere of the film Si Versailles m'était conté... on December 15, 1953, sold for the benefit of the restoration of the Château de Versailles. Numbered copy 347 - 4 page program of the gala performance of January 17, 1922, given on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Molière's birth . The performances included Le Misanthrope with Lucien Guitry, and Chez Jean de La Fontaine, 17 February 1763 by Sacha Guitry, played by the author and Yvonne Printemps. - Folio program of the Gala evening of January 26, 1956 given at the Théâtre National de l'Opéra for the benefit of the Cité Universitaire hospital, the student solidarity fund and the Lépine foundation, during which the film Si Paris nous était conté... by Sacha Guitry was shown. Numbered copy 245, enriched with an original photograph of the actress Gisèle Granpré who played the role of Madame de Sévigné in the film, taken by the Harcourt studio and dedicated to Jacques Crépineau in 1957, and the film's press kit. All these documents are preserved in a modern blue morocco spine folder and case.
