First edition of one of the most famous comedies of Georges Feydeau, first performed on January 9, 1894 at the Palais-Royal theatre. The cover is illustrated with a photograph of the actress Jeanne Cheirel, creator of the role of Lucette. One of 30 copies on Hollande paper (n° 13).
