Hard white vellum, smooth spine decorated with an original drawing by Laboureur, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (period binding). Sylvain Laboureur, Catalogue complet de l'œuvre de Jean-Émile Laboureur, II, pp. 191-196, n° 405. 200 numbered copies printed on Rives wove paper, illustrated with 25 compositions engraved with burin by Jean-Émile LABOUREUR, including one on the cover, one on the title, 3 hors texte and 20 in the text . A rare copy in a contemporary binding decorated on the back with an original drawing by Laboureur, done in Indian ink and enhanced in colours, representing a couple picking grapes. Bindings painted by Laboureur are very rare. A very well preserved copy but incomplete of the first leaf including the false title and the justification.
