André RANSAN (1896-1984) journalist and playwright. Typescript signed with autograph additions and corrections, Mémoires d'un homme de bonne humeur. Historical narrative (1910-1970); approximately 630 pages in-4 in sheets in two titled folders. Unpublished memoirs on theatrical, literary, artistic, political and social life. They open with an impressive list of "the main characters evoked or portrayed in this work, both novelistic and historical", from Sarah Bernhardt to Pierre Dux, via Jouvet, Maurras, Clemenceau, Guitry, Colette, Valéry, Mistinguett, etc. The typescript is interrupted in chap. XXV evoking the Orange choreographies of 1939. There are numerous corrections, and several autograph pages added.
