Sacha GUITRY (1885-1957). Autograph manuscript for La Prise de Berg-op-Zoom, [1912]; 16 pages in-4 or small in-fol. mounted on tabs on strong wove paper, with attached documents; in an in-folio volume bound in red half-maroquin, slipcase lined. Partial manuscript of the play created at the Vaudeville on October 4, 1912, with Sacha Guitry and Charlotte Lysès in the main roles. - 8 pages in purple ink (with some didascalies in pencil) from the scene between Paulette and Hériot : " Without looking at me all the time !"... to "I would so much like to be able to tell you"... (variants with the published text). - Pencil drafts for Act III between Paulette and Hériot: "Is that a carriage?"then in ink: "Yes, that's it... like that... only I know you're not asleep"... The February 22, 1913 issue of L'Illustration théâtrale publishing the play is bound in; and 7 models of female costumes by Michel FRESNAY for the 1986 revival at the Théâtre de la Michodière (38 x 28 cm each on grey paper), 6 of which are signed.
