Collection of antique menus
Contains 96 menus from 1850-1912, 60 of which are on cardstock, bearing the names: Marquis de Grange de Surgères, Demeure (de Lespaul). Mostly private dinners, some on ocean liners ("Congo", "Sénégal", "Duc de Bragance") or for official occasions (French conference of the young barrister of Ghent 1892, dinner of His Majesty at Beverloo camp in 1870, etc.). A beautiful set of 36 large format porcelain menu cards from 1850-1860 is included, mostly from the province of Antwerp.
Good condition overall, the porcelain menu cards are generally folded in the middle.
