Dimensions : 89,2 x 70 cm Henri de Linarès is a French animal painter born on August 8, 1904 in Blois in the department of Loir-et-Cher and died on March 22, 1987 in Gien. He is, with Pierre-Louis Duchartre, the co-founder of the Museum of hunting and falconry in Gien (now the museum "Hunting history and nature in Val de Loire"). He later became its first curator. Mr. de Linarès collaborated a lot with the Hermès company, especially for the designs of the mythical silk squares.
