Round barrels, etched Damascus steel (L 17.5 cm), mark "C.GUNTERMANN IN DÜSSELDORF" struck into brass, Cal. 13 mm, rifled, fixed rear sight, front sight of nickel-silver. Front chain locks, flat lock plates and cocks, piston safeties. Smooth nickel-silver mounts, grip caps numbered N 1 and N 2, trigger guard, two ramrod sleeves. Walnut stocks, wooden ramrods with horn tip. L 30.6 cm. A rare pair of pistols by the Düsseldorf gunsmith C. Guntermann, carefully-crafted and well-preserved weapons. Cf.
