LARGE BÉRAIN-DECORATED PLAT Moustiers, Clérissy factory, circa 1715-1720 Earthenware, blue painted decoration In perfect condition 35 x 51 cm Provenance Private collection, Paris, since 1991 This large Moustiers earthenware dish, painted in a shade of blue, has an original square shape with two lateral lobes underlined by two braided handles. It is decorated in the center of a mascaron from which escape arabesques populated with dolphins, sphinges and parrots.
