Benezit IX, 124-126 - Copy C of only 5 copies (A to E) of the special edition on Japan Imperial, with two original copper plates mounted in the covers. This copy according to the handwritten note on the front plate for the publisher Flammarion. Attached to the copy two sheets of the suite in first impressions, each inscribed "essai de tirage pour la couleur / Bon G.R." under the representation on the support, supposedly by the hand of Rouault who thus released the printing. - In the margin somewhat dusty, glassine cover of the text sheets creased, otherwise fine.
