The confusion fastened by the fact that from the beginning pictures of the Basel public dance of death were mixed in.... - The Latin translation of the Basel Death Dance admitted by H. Frölich is already found in Caspari's Laudismanni in 1584.... Decennalia mundanae peregrinationis... In the preface, however, Frölich ascribes the work to himself."
