Amsterdam, Christie's, 5 September 2001, lot 405 (as Bolognese School 1617)
The painting is attributed to the Bolognese school, however, Roman influences can be discerned, distinguishable in the face of the Virgin which recalls the models of Scipione Pulzone (Gaeta, c. 1540- 1542 ; Rome, 1598).
