Very rare staybrite steel men's military watch for pilots.
Black enamel dial with radium painted Arabic numerals and seconds at six o'clock. Plexiglas glass.
Mechanical movement numbered 7689113, hand-wound calibre 35.5 S T1.
Steel case numbered 8227751 with fixed lugs and screwed case back + a double steel case back.
Diameter: 41 mm
Recent NATO type leather strap.
Very few examples of this military watch have been issued, some of which were used by the German army during the interwar period. The important crown of the winding mechanism was intended to be manipulated by the gloves of the pilots.
Condition report: good overall condition for a watch of this era and still working but in need of an overhaul.
