Although they look alike, the B14 is radically different from the 10 HP family on the technical level. Presented in 1926, the chassis and the engine gain in flexibility, the gearbox is reinforced and the suspension is revised to improve holding. Four drum brakes, smoother steering and a larger tank complete the picture. Unassumingly, with the B14 F André Citroën stroke a severe blow against its competition with a very capable car on the market... In only 10 years, Citroën finally managed to surpass its rivals Peugeot and Renault.
The Torpedo we present today was sold new in Seville in 1927. Restored many years ago in an elegant yellow livery with black mudguards and red rims, bearing Madrid plates, it will need some care before being driven again.
