Two candlesticks / small planter / cylinder vase. Regina Junge. Around 1981. Regina Junge 1939 Großbothen. Porcelain, glazed and partially painted in blue underglaze or onglaze colour. Partially decorated with plastic porcelain décor. On the underside in each case incised monogrammed "JR". Cf. in similar design: Staatlicher Kunsthandel der DDR, Studio-Galerie: Regina Junge. Porcelain. Exhibition August to June 1982, unpag. The candlestick with fire crack on the stand as well as two chips on the upper rim, the small candlestick with tiny fire cracks, inconspicuous in the overall picture. The cylinder vase with isolated restorations and chips, respectively missing parts, inconspicuous in the overall picture. Dimensions: H. 9 cm / H. 16,5 cm / H. 19 cm / H. 7,5 cm. Regina Junge 1939 Großbothen German ceramist. Apprenticeship as porcelain painter in Colditz. 4-year study at the technical school for applied art and form design in Sonneberg. Subsequently, 5-year study at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art with Henze, Kaiser and Mohr. Since 1967 freelance artist. Co-founder of the artists' association Schaddelmühle. Lives and works in Berlin Oranienburg.
