The body with a geometric decoration of circles with a beaded band in relief and interspersed crosses in relief as well as a pewter lid mounting with a thumb latch. The maker's mark "Reinhold Merkelbach Grenzhausen" and the embossed model number "2179" on the underside. Year of design: around 1910. Erlebach, Jürgen / Schimanski, Jürgen: Westerwälder Steinzeug.
