Four Mauser bayonets, 20th century An unstamped SG 98 long as a property piece with nickel-plated single-edged blade, nickel-plated iron hilt (wooden grip scales) and leather scabbard with nickel-plated non-magnetic fittings. One bayonet M 98/05 with blade stamp "Waffenfabrik Mauser - A.G. Oberndorf a. N." (somewhat worn), on the back "W/16" under crown, iron hilt with wooden grip scales and iron scabbard (heavily pitted, repainted). A SG 84/98, 3rd model with blued blade (tip somewhat pitted), stamped "Carl Eickhorn", "38" and "8782 r" at the base, bakelite grip panels, blued steel scabbard (pressure marks, rubbed, traces of rust) and leather belt sheath ("Friedrich Schäfer Ulm/ Do. 1942"). Also a new bayonet without maker and acceptance marks. Locking mechanisms intact. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Length approx. 40 - 69 cm. Condition: II +

Five German bayonets SG 71 without scabbard with blade stamp "Weyersberg & Stamm", (blade reworked/zaponized). SG 98/05 with Erfurt stamp, on back "W 15" under crown, without scabbard (hilt re-browned). SG 98/05 with stamp "V.C. Schilling Suhl", on the back "W 15" under crown, unfortunately scabbard (hilt and scabbard fittings reblued). A completely reblued SG 98/05 by Mauser, on the back "W 17" under crown, iron scabbard. Also an SG 98 long with Erfurt stamp, "W 05" under crown on back, leather scabbard. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 50 to 68 cm. Condition: II

Saxony, 1st World War. Rare "SEITENGEWEHR" 98-02 sawtooth bayonet, without scabbard. Handle without flame guard, striated wooden plates. Blade with small stained gray patina, gutter and sawtooth. Manufacturer's marking on heel: "V. C. SCHILLING SUHL". It is stamped on the back "FA" under crown for Frederick Augustus III, King of Saxony, "05" for 1905, "RC" under crown and control stamp. 56 cm (Blade 43 cm). (Saxon 98-02 bayonets are rarely encountered, as many Saxon regiments were equipped with Prussian bayonets. Good condition).
