The printed surface of each page is only 3.5 x 3.5 mm! Each page of the book is engraved on metal in a type foundry, not photographically reduced. The printing and folding are particularly difficult. The book is hand-bound in leather and decorated with gold, and comes in a special plexiglass case + publisher's slipcase + explanation
