Nicolaes berchem (1635-1683) - Animalia, first unfinished states (6) / Description: A group of 6 charming engravings in early states, mainly first states unfinished in many parts, all before the number. The first engraving shows a shepherd with a dog, before the number and before any publishers address (H. 35, I-II / VI ). The other show goats, often in unfinished states (H.37 I ,H.38 I , H.50 II / VII, H.53 I / VI, H.54 I / VI) / Dimensions: 10,30 x 13 cm each Good dark impressions with 3 on a sheet of watermarked laid paper. The wide margins with occasional fold. One tear in top middle margin above the title print.
