War scythe, Probably Toggenburg, dat. Largely freshly forged, only roughly ground and darkly tarnished scythe blade (l 72.5 cm) with blade tang. The latter fixed in the shaft by a clamping ring from which two shaft springs extend. Well preserved, possibly original octagonal shaft with initials "CMS" and date "1704". L approx. 259 cm.
